Here am I, send me!
Isaiah 6:8 has always been one of my favorite verses. Isaiah felt inadequate to the task, but was willing to be used by God. Over the years, this has become one of my theme verses as I feel inadequate to the tasks that God calls me to, but, as a willing spirit, I respond, "Here am I, send me!"
Through answering that call, I have been blessed with various opportunities, many of which are to places where others are not as interested in going for one reason or another. Some may call that foolish or dangerous. I prefer to call it faith and willingness. "Here am I, send me!"
Where is God calling you?
Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1, 2 NIV)
