Falling in Love with Jesus roseIf I were to ask you to make a list of things you do, say, and act like when you are in love, it might look something like this:
• You’re happy
• You talk about him all the time
• He’s always on your mind
• You talk to him all the time
• You find out what makes him happy
• You spend time with him
• You show him off to your friends
• You quote him
• You make him a priority in your life
• You make plans for your future together
• People think you’re crazy
• You would do anything for him
• You start to act/think like him (Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)
Does the same list apply if we are in love with Jesus?

Do you love Jesus with your head or your heart? Check out this same list, affirmed by Scripture, as examples of how we can fall more in love with Jesus—and what it looks like when we do.
• You’re happy (Luke 7:16)
• You talk about Him all the time (Matt. 9:31)
• He’s always on your mind (1 Cor. 2:2)
• You talk to Him all the time (Luke 6:12)
• You find out what makes Him happy (John 14:23)
• You do what He does (Rom. 6:1-6)
• You show Him off to your friends (John 4:39-42)
• You quote Him (Acts 4:20)
• You make Him a priority in your life (Matt. 4:18-22)
• You make plans for your future together (John 14:1-4)
• People think you’re crazy (Matt. 14:28-29)
• You would do anything for Him (Acts 2:14-40)
• You start to act/think like Him (Acts 4:13)
Can others tell that you are in love with Jesus?
