Andrew Stivers grew up in Houston, Texas, where early exposure to diverse cultures and communities sparked his interest in international ministry and service. He attended Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor in Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems. While at Texas A&M, he was actively involved in international ministry, spending time in Brazil in the cities of Itu, Porto Alegre, and Londrina—experiences that deepened his appreciation for faith and fellowship across languages and cultures.
Today, Andrew lives in Houston and works in corporate financial services as a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Memorial Church of Christ, where he serves on the finance committee and enjoys supporting the church’s mission to serve and connect people from all walks of life.
Joining the Board of Iron Rose Sister Ministries, Andrew is excited to draw on his ministry experience, professional background, and heart for cross-cultural connection to help equip, encourage, and empower women throughout the Americas. He values the organization’s commitment to providing accessible resources, strengthening Christian sister relationships, and building a vibrant, multilingual network committed to growth and encouragement.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Ellie, exploring new cultures, and continuing to grow in faith. He is honored to serve the vision of Iron Rose Sister Ministries and support women as they inspire and uplift one another in their relationship with God.
