New Book Release!
Committed to Listen facilitates a dedicated commitment to listening to God and to others, individually and in a small group context. Through 40 days of listening exercises, we affirm that the more we listen to God, the more we want to hear from the One whose words bring life (Jn 3:16, 10:10).

Equipping women to connect to God and one another more deeply
Iron Rose Sister Ministries (IRSM) facilitates Christian sister relationships that will be like iron sharpening iron, encouraging and inspiring each other to be as beautiful as a rose in spite of a few thorns. Its goal is to provide women's Bible studies simple enough for anyone to lead and deep enough for everyone to grow. We also offer conferences and seminars equipping women with the tools to connect to God and one another more deeply. All resources are available in English and Spanish (Ministerio Hermana Rosa de Hierro - MHRH).
"I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this ministry - to be a part of a bilingual ministry which helps with the continual learning of my Spanish and especially for the time to be with other women. I believe that women NEED women and am so blessed by the teachings through this ministry and so thankful for Michelle and everyone else involved behind the scenes for this online time together that brings women from so many countries and journeys together in God's name" - Debbie Wulff at one of our online studies

A Life of Faith and Hope
Written by Corina Díaz, volunteer with Iron Rose Sister in Argentina
Rom. 5:3 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Although we are already over the third month of the year, I am still thinking about the most effective way to get the most out of this 2022. So, I decided to organize a strategy to lead me towards a life of faith and hope during this year. Here I share these 5 simple steps:
1. Let's adjust expectations. One of the biggest problems of the human being is to hold an expectation about the future. This simple fact creates a feeling that things have to go as we wish instead of being fulfilled according to God's work. It does not mean that you cannot set great goals for yourself, what it really does mean is that we need to be flexible about the future and be ready to give God the opportunity to surprise us with even greater things.
2. Letting go of our worries, once your expectations are adjusted, you will see almost instantaneous worries dissipate, this requires spending time in prayer. Phil 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
3. Taking small steps of faith, prayer fills us with faith. Spending time talking with your Father leads you to trust, because the more we get to know him, the more we trust in his power.
4. Conducting ourselves in love, a life in faith frees us from fear and worries, and on the contrary, love reigns in our hearts. Phil 8:38-39: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither things present nor things to come, nor powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation will be able to separate us from the love that God has manifested to us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5. Sharing our life in community, which is the result of faith and love to others. Eph. 5:2: and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God..
My greatest wish is that in this 2022 we live full of hope, trusting in our redeemer, and prepared to share our hearts that overflow in love.

My Thanksgiving List...
My Thanksgiving List...
Written by Erica Peck
I sat down today and thought I would put on paper some of the things for which I’m thankful. We often feel grateful, but don’t recognize the full extent of how incredibly blessed we are. Sometimes writing it down helps. This by no means is an exhaustive list...it is just the beginning. Things I am grateful for:
Jesus as my LORD
This world is NOT my home
My husband, supportive, loyal, and always makes me laugh.
My first-born son, full of creativity and heart
My second-born son, full of life and giggles
My washing machine
Colorful, crunchy leaves in Fall
This chair I sit in
Jobs I can do and still be at home to raise my boys and support my family
The blessing of friendship
My mom, and all of her counsel, advice and example.
My dad, and his support, example and steadfastness
The Bible, oh the Bible.
Hot, running water.
Doctors and medicine
God’s creation I can enjoy with all of my senses.
My brother and sister-in-law, always so welcoming and caring of others
Delicious, wonderful food.
My cozy bed.
Like I said, this is just the beginning--I can think of many other things I am so, so grateful for, and I encourage you to write down your own list. As the old hymn goes, “Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done...and it will surprise you what the Lord has done.”
Victory Redefined
Victory for a Venezuelan – finding Harina Pan and toilet paper at the grocery store
Victory for a homeless person – clean socks and a hot meal
Victory for an insomniac – a good night’s rest
Victory for a depressed person – getting out of bed
Victory for a college student – a passing grade in a most-challenging class
Victory for a new mom – six uninterrupted hours of sleep or a solo trip to the grocery store
Victory for a teenager – a text from the guy you’ve secretly had a crush on
Victory for an addict – sobriety from their addiction, one day or decision at a time
We should not minimize the victories of others. Their struggles may not be the same as ours, but we can rejoice together in the victory. There is no small victory – it means we have overcome a challenge or a difficult time.
How would you define victory in your life?
Tomorrow – how God designed the ultimate victory!
