Today, I am on my way to Guatemala. I will be spending the next ten days conducting classes and seminars in three different cities. The first two are in partnership with Health Talents International, in the cities of Chichicastenango and at the Clínica Ezell.
Both of those seminars will be based on the book of Philippians. We will look to Christ as Paul’s ultimate source of joy, as well as the other points made to the Philippi church that still apply to us today.
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again. Rejoice!”
And one of the things I rejoice in, for the third portion of my trip, is the opportunity to work with IRSM’s 2015 summer intern, Katie Lynn Finch. She is interning this summer with the group Amor Sin Temor, based in San Cristobal, Guatemala.
Katie Lynn has started several small group Bible studies with women of various ages, all using the book she helped me proof before publication last summer, In God’s Right Hand (the Spanish version, of course).
What a blessing to see God using IRSM to equip women to connect to God and one another more deeply—and to see them carry that on in equipping others to equip others! Stay tuned for pictures and stories from my trip, upon my return.
In the meantime, please keep me, and these works in your prayers.
